International OHMSS Posters

International poster for "On Her Majesty's Secret Service": Australian Daybill and 1 sheet, Japanese B2s and STB, 1 sheets from Argentina.

OHMSS Lobby Cards from Germany

German lobby cards - called Aushangfotos -  for "Im Geheimdienst Ihrer Majestaet" (On Her Majesty's Secret Service). The first release set consisted of 40 lobby cards. The reissue set of 16 lobby cards featured 3 new photos not used in the original release. I don't own the originals so I'm not sure which ones are which.

It appears that the reissue set did not have the FSK rating stamp and was also smaller in size.

From Russia With Love Japanese Style

Initially I was not too keen on the Japanese posters as they were photo-montages and not painted. But they grew on me and they are quite fun to imitate. Now that I've done Dr. No I had to add "From Russia With Love" as well.

Japanese Thunderball Artwork

Tribute art to "Thunderball" in a Japanese poster style. I do apologise in advance to my Japanese readers for the incorrect use of their language and typography. The text is lifted from the original Japanese poster but rearranged. I'm probably saying " Sean Connery IS Technicolor" or something similar

Is or As James Bond?

The US campaign for "You Only Live Twice" used the slogan "Sean Connery IS James Bond" in 1967. When the film was re-released in the early '70 during the Roger Moore area this was not strictly true any more. Consequently the existing posters and lobby cards were re-labeled to "Sean Connery as James Bond", usually be covering the "IS" with "AS". Some examples from the US, Argentina, Australia, Sweden and Italy.
