European Goldfinger Posters

For the slightly obsessive poster collector (like me): European poster overview of original and reissue posters for James Bond 007 - "Goldfinger". Italy wins in terms of different posters and reprints - as usual.

Newspaper Ads from Spain

Spanish newspaper ads for "Desde Rusia Con Amor" (From Russia With Love), artwork by Macario "Mac" Gomez who also painted the Spanisg Poster. The ads are taken from the Spanish pressbook. Thanks to Luca for sharing these!

Italian Posters for Goldfinger

Five variations of the "Goldfinger" locandina posters from Italy, 71 x33 cm. Original poster on the left and them reissue posters from the 70s and 80s on the right. The reissue posters all show small variations in design and layout. I wonder how many more there are.

James Bond Poster & Photo Exhibition Catalogue

Pages from the exhibition catalogue "Bond,... James Bond - Filmplakate und Fotografien aus fuenfzig Jahren". 

The catalogue is filled with new and unseen artwork (at least for me) from McGinnis, Peak and many others. There are also rare posters from all over the world from the collection of Thomas Nixdorf collection and rare photos from the collection of Robert Ganz. Catalogue is available here.

From Russia With Love Artwork

The European advertising campaign for "From Russia With Love" established the iconic Bond pose in 1963. The Italian artist Renato Fratini created a blueprint which was adapted in many countries. I don't quite understand why the art was re-painted so many time but I like the subtle variations that this produced.
