What if....

From a parallel universe: The artist Mitchell Hooks did various black and white illustrations for "From Russia With Love". Here is an attempt how it would have looked like as colourised quad poster and in a cinema foyer.

Dr No Artwork by Mitchell Hooks

Action scene artwork for "Dr No" by Mitchell Hooks. It appears that Hooks did a pencil version first (top) that was then reduced to line art (bottom). The US posters used the line art version while the UK quad poster used the pencil version.

James Bond Poster & Photo Exhibition Catalogue

Pages from the exhibition catalogue "Bond,... James Bond - Filmplakate und Fotografien aus fuenfzig Jahren".

The catalogue is filled with new and unseen artwork (at least for me) from McGinnis, Peak and many others. There are also rare posters from all over the world from the collection of Thomas Nixdorf collection and rare photos from the collection of Robert Ganz. Catalogue is available here.

Dr No Record Cover

Spanish 45 record with simplified version of Mitchell Hooks' poster design from Dr. No. Thanks to Johan for sharing this.
