Diamonds Are Forever Concept Artwork

Diamonds Are Forever, 1971, concept artwork by Robert McGinnis, gouache and mixed media on board 86.5 x 47.5cm.

This artwork was auctioned at Christie's on 15 June 2011 and fetched a staggering £79,250 ($129,574).

Yeah, I much prefer it to the final version. It's more dynamic. It looks great on my wall (kidding!)

Amazing!
I agree with everyone it looks more dynamic than the final poster.
My guess is that Mr Smlen and the powers at be decided not to use the Thunderball pose and go with the more typical 007 pose
