Skyfall Poster Concept

Poster concept tribute for the film "Skyfall" Gouache and pen on artboard. Style is a shameless imitation of the "From Russia With Love" poster by Renato Fratini.
I've started by practicing Craig's face in different styles. With mixed succes. The loose style of Fratini and Hooks requires considerable skill - which I don't have.
Then I've painted the poster using traditional techniques to achieve the old-style effect. Text was added in Photoshop though.

Fantastic effort Peter -
Composition is great but if that were real I'm sure it would feature both Bardem & Dench which is sad as I like it as is.
I was also massively disappointed by the film - didn't seem to have much of anything to do with Bond...

Or perhaps it's too much about Bond, with all the psychobabble Hollywood is prone to delivering these days. Thought it had many merits, though.

Here's an interesting conversation about Bonds through the years you might find interesting.

Would you be okay with some modifications to the text (specifically the slightly messy Broccoli-Fleming-Bond, squiggles Technicolor, and replacing the footer with the actual credits)?

@ nutsocharles: I've deliberately choosen the hand-drwan style for some of the text as this was normal for a poster concept. The main text was type-set and then glued onto the sketch, the small text was just lines. to complete the look.

Peter, a great tribute to a great film. Would love to see the producers return to the drawn posters of old.

Could I possibly buy a copy of this poster?

@ Jason:

Sure, happy to do that. Can you ping me an email to my adress in my profile and we get that going.
