These were published alongside the 9 book club editions (black boards with coloured spine stripe). A small contingent of these prints were issued a new dust jacket and were sold exclusively to libraries.

The painting was originally owned by Anne Fleming. She gave it to Mr and Mrs Beckett - who worked for the Fleming's - as a retirement present in 1974.
