The following illustrations come from Scandinavian comic book covers. The principal publisher was the Swedish Semic Press, while the Norwegian versions were published by Semic Nordic and the Danish versions by Interpresse. Cover artwork was frequently re-used, starting in 1965 up to 1980.

The Bond story was commissioned by Jonathan Cape from Kingsley Amis, masquerading as Ian Fleming (after Fleming's death) under the pseudonym, Robert Markham. In the same spirit Tom Adams' cover painting masqueraded as Salvador Dali!"
