Casino Royale Artwork

Original artwork by Robert McGinnis for the 1967 version of "Casino Royale. The artwork was used internationally, example of the British Quad below.
It appears that the artwork was recreated for the 2012 Collector's Edition DVD: The pose is the same but the figures and patterns within the silhouette are different.

If only the film had been even half as good as the artwork!

The film is a mess. But we do get Dusty Springfield singing 'The Look of Love' and the Daliah Lavi/Woody Allen scene.

I see...so the weirdest, most unpopular of the Bond films is re-issued with it's original artwork on DVD. And yet the official series is given overly photoshopped covers with cut out heads stuck on new bodies, reversed images, no imagination AND every wrinkle or pore smoothed away.
Nice one, MGM.

The film was reissued after the Broccolis got the rights to it, and I suspect the image was "doctored" so as to downplay the JAMES BOND 007 connection. In order not to confuse buyers into thinking they were buying th Daniel Craig version. I can see no other explananition. And I have a feeling Rober McGinnis did the new version as well. The details in the image is very close to his style in recent years. Just look at his cover illustration for the Sunday Times Bond special that was made in the 90s. Any info from others?

The artwork for the DVD/blu-ray also was painted by Robert McGinnis which he personally confirmed to me.

Anyone know where to get a print of this artwork. Everything I'm seeing is the original movie poster and isn't as good in my opinion.
