Timothy Dalton was the favourite Bond of the hungarian translator (András Gáspár), and he told that to the painters of the cover (the famous hungarian illustrators: Zoltán Boros&Gábor Szikszai, who are painting Word of Warcraft game cards nowdays)

And here is a little "insidie joke":
The translator of Fleming's Thunderball, András Gáspár is a famous fantasy/scifi writer in Hungary.
In his novel's cover (In Death's Month) there is a steampunk-fantasy hero, Tier Nan Gorduin - with the face of Timothy Dalton!
